Junior Registration Day
Junior registration day is 8th
March 2008 from 10am until noon at
Jackie Geor will be taking names and providing
information. It is best if previous players and all new players turn up as this
saves a lot of work on the phone. We have had good interest expressed by
parents wanting to be coaches but there is always a need for managers and new
coaches. The club is more than happy to pay for any coaching courses that you
may want to attend at local level. Early expressions of interest will enable us
to apply for funding from some of the Trusts.
At the juniors sign in day we
will be running a boot box, where you can donate boots that the children have
grown out of. Jackie will be managing the distribution to those who require 2nd
hand boots. And be nice to Jackie because without her the junior section of the
club would fall over; I hear that she loves chocolate fish.

Ladies Team
The ladies
team is looking good with some new young players to add to the old wise heads.
The experience that was gained by the younger ones last season should shine
through this time round. If Eileen has not managed to touch base yet please
give her a call or if you are new to senior football do give her a call on
8786995, preferably in the evening.
First
meeting and run will be on 7th March 2008 at Queen’s Square at
6:00pm. We have a pre season game scheduled against Western Rangers.
